This site miloengai.com is committed to protecting user privacy. General-purpose engineering tools are free; most single-point calculator inputs stay on your device (except the multi-fluid fluid-properties tool, which runs CoolProp on our servers). Optional pro calculator entitlements, digital asset purchases, and platform credit packs use account records described below. We follow the "Data Minimization" principle.

1. Information Collection

We only collect minimal information in the following specific scenarios:

• Communication: When you voluntarily email `hello@miloengai.com`, we record your email address and content solely to reply. This data is not used for marketing.
• Account data: If you register, we store your email, optional display name, and a bcrypt password hash for sign-in and purchase entitlements. We never store plaintext passwords.
• Digital asset purchases: When you buy a full bundle from the Digital assets catalog, we record which specific product is entitled to your account, the source (e.g. Ko-fi, manual verification), and review timestamps. Payment proof you submit (channel, transaction reference, optional note) is used only for manual verification—not for marketing—and retained as needed for audit.
• Platform credits & batch exports: When you buy credit packs or run signed-in batch table exports (e.g. steam or multi-fluid property Excel), we record your credit balance ledger (grants, debits, refunds) and export job audit rows (export mode, row count, columns selected, credits charged, timestamps). Your export specification (ranges, units, precision) is processed on our servers to generate the file; we do not use it for marketing.
• Payment security: Voluntary tips are handled by third-party platforms; we do not access or store payment card numbers. Product purchases likewise go through Ko-fi or proof you submit; we do not collect full card numbers.
• Maintenance Logs: For server security, we record basic access logs (including encrypted IP, browser type, and access time), which are generally retained for no more than 30 days and not linked to personal identity.

2. Data Processing & Storage

• Single-point calculators stay local (default): General calculators do not require registration; typical single-point inputs and results are processed on your device and are not sent to our servers. Exception: fluid-properties single-point lookups are computed server-side (CoolProp); we process the request to return properties and do not use it for marketing.
• Batch exports (signed-in): Large table exports (steam and multi-fluid property tables) require sign-in; your export specification is sent to our servers to build the Xlsx/CSV file and debit credits when applicable.
• Accounts & downloads: Full digital-asset bundles require sign-in; we store entitlement and audit records only and do not sell account or purchase data.
• Security & Encryption: All data transmissions are encrypted via SSL to ensure secure access.

3. Information Use & Sharing

We promise not to sell or rent the limited information we collect to any third party. Collected information is used solely to:

1. Optimize tool algorithm precision;
2. Maintain website operation security;
3. Reply to your technical inquiries.

4. Legal Compliance

• GDPR Adherence: For international users, we refer to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards for data protection.
• China Compliance: For users in China, this policy strictly complies with the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) of the People's Republic of China.
