Metadata library policy

Purpose

This site may provide structured metadata you maintain or derive for engineering work (standard identifiers, versions, supersession relationships, piping material specification rules, project snapshots, and export manifests). It does not replace official publications.

No distribution of third-party PDFs

We do not provide original standard specifications, standard atlases, design manuals, product catalogs, professional books, professional literatures, or other engineering reference PDF files to third parties through this website. Users must obtain licensed copies from authorized publishers or rights holders.

Your responsibilities

Engineering decisions remain yours (or your organization’s). Use critical judgment and comply with applicable laws, contracts, and employer policies.

Updates

Structured data may change without notice; verify against authoritative sources before relying on it for regulated work.

Structured data products (paid download pilot)

Sellable digital assets are listed in the Digital assets catalog (currently audited CommoditySpec read models; more assets may be added over time). Each product has a detail page at `/metadata/products/{slug}`. This is separate from free calculators and voluntary tips.

• Public browse: Visitors may view the catalog, price labels, publish status, and preview links without signing in.
• Public preview: Dedicated explorer pages offer limited-row preview/sample export where available; otherwise see the standards coverage map.
• Full bundles: Require sign-in and a one-time purchase of that specific product; the same account may re-download that purchased bundle unless terms say otherwise. Buying one product does not unlock other catalog items.
• China / no Ko-fi: Signed-in users may submit WeChat/Alipay/Ko-fi transaction proof on the product page for manual verification. This is a product purchase, not the site tip QR code. Email `hello@miloengai.com` for payee instructions.
• Your duty: Obtain licensed full texts and verify all engineering use.
• Internal corpus: OCR/Markdown review materials are not sold; customer-facing delivery is published structured read models only.

Platform credit packs (generation credits)

Digital assets also lists prepaid platform credit packs (e.g. `steam-credits-100`, `steam-credits-300`). These are consumable, repeat-purchasable, and not permanent download entitlements.

• What credits buy: signed-in generation tasks such as large steam property table Excel exports and multi-fluid CoolProp property table Excel exports (shared credit wallet). Small previews and free-tier rows may not require credits.
• Account ledger: credits and debits are recorded in your account; view balance and history in the user dashboard.
• PayPal: typically credits your balance immediately after capture (no TSV download link).
• Ko-fi / WeChat / Alipay: submit payment proof as for other digital products; admin approval writes credits to your ledger within 1–2 business days.
• Not cash, not transferable: credits are not redeemable for cash unless required by law or an explicit refund policy.
• Purchased credits do not expire: paid platform credits from credit packs remain valid while miloengai.com operates and your account is in good standing.
• Promotional credits expire: signup bonuses and other promotional grants are valid for 12 months (365 days) from the grant date; unused promotional balance lapses after that (promotional credits are consumed before purchased credits). See product pages and your dashboard for details.
• Prepaid service units only: credits are prepaid meters for this site's signed-in generation tasks. They are not legal tender, e-money, stored-value instruments, or general-purpose virtual currency for third-party goods or services (unlike ecosystem-wide tokens such as gaming or social-platform coins). Credits cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged between users.
• Exceptions: we may reverse or adjust credits for chargebacks, fraud, Terms violations, or as required by law. If the service is discontinued, we will give reasonable notice and treat unused purchased credits according to applicable consumer law and our refund process (contact `hello@miloengai.com`).

Notes:

• Each structured data / Pro SKU purchase unlocks one catalog product only; tips/donations do not substitute for a product purchase.
• Credit packs add consumable platform credits; they do not unlock TSV downloads. You may buy the same credit pack more than once.
• PayPal auto-unlock requires: `PAYPAL_CLIENT_ID` / `PAYPAL_CLIENT_SECRET` (set `PAYPAL_MODE=live` for Live), a parseable USD amount in `price_label` (e.g. `$58`), `NEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_URL` matching the PayPal return domain, and the same signed-in account on this site.
• If PayPal paid but not unlocked: refresh `/metadata` or User dashboard → Digital assets; if still locked, submit proof under PayPal (not auto-unlocked) or email `hello@miloengai.com`.
